Over 17.7 thousand visitors come to Sapa during the week of Mau Thuong Temple Festival
On the morning of April 14, Sa Pa Town People's Committee organized incense offerings and folk sacrifices at Mau Thuong Temple, ending the Sapa Thuong Mau Temple Festival in 2021.

Mau Thuong Temple is one of the three famous temples of Sa Pa, recognized as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic since 2005. This is the place to worship Saint Mother Lieu Hanh - one of the four immortals of Vietnam. The temple is a relic associated with the spiritual life and beliefs of the people of Sa Pa town, attracting thousands of tourists every year to visit and worship.

Sapa's Mau Thuong Temple festival will be held for the first time in 2021 from April 9-14, with many unique cultural activities such as: a street carnival themed "Sapa and Dao Mau ethnic groups"; a festival of singing Chau Van and practicing Mother Goddess worship beliefs; folk sacrifices and incense offering at Mau Thuong Temple... According to the Sa Pa Town Information and Culture Department's aggregate data, activities over the weekend (April 10-11) drew over 17,700 people. When compared to previous weeks, the number of visitors to Sapa has more than doubled.

Following the success of the Sa Pa Mau Thuong Temple Festival in 2021, the town of Sa Pa will continue to organize the Summer Festival and Sa Pa Love Season Festival in 2021, with many interesting and unique activities to stimulate demand and attract tourists to Sapa on April 30 and the summer of 2021.
